The Bacon Manifesto

Most days don't fail.
They disappear.

Not because you didn't care.
Not because you weren't motivated.

But because nothing ever forced the day to end honestly.

Work gets rescheduled.
Intentions roll forward.
Tomorrow absorbs today.

By Friday, the week is gone.
And it's hard to explain where it went.

Bacon exists to make days visible.

Not with advice.
Not with motivation.
Not with tasks, streaks, or rewards.

Just a simple daily check-in.
Asked consistently.
Answered factually.

You decide what matters.
You define the criteria.
You answer to yourself.

Some days will show up.
Some days won't.

Bacon doesn't judge.
It doesn't explain.
It doesn't motivate.

It records.

Over time, patterns appear.
Not all at once.
Not dramatically.

But clearly enough to notice:
Tuesday.
That was the day.
That's where the week broke.

Bacon isn't about winning the day.
It's about seeing the days that didn't happen.
One at a time.

Because you don't win the week by accident.
You win it by not losing the days.

Honesty first.
Improvement is a side effect.

Why I built this

"I knew what I needed to do. But days slipped by. Tasks rolled forward. Weeks disappeared."
"I didn't need another productivity app. I needed something that would ask, plainly, whether I did the work."

"So I built it."

Bacon is a daily self-check-in system built for people who want to see their time clearly.
